bad news... i'm craving korean tofu soup from the stall at china square now. omg. had the most delicious tofu soup there. its kimchi based and they are generous with the kimchi (my favourite!!) and tofu. they give you like so much soup and very little, but enough, rice. i like it like that! i'll get to enjoy more of the soup and give a satisfied ahhhhh after finishing up the huge bowl of soup.

damn. i should go there again and get a fix of that soup asap.

but i don't think i can this month. dead broke. and i actually OWE the bank like $60! i went to the atm the other day to see how much i have left and i see an OVERDRAFT of like 60 smackaroons! i was like 'say whattt!!' urgh.....

its gonna be a long month for me...

oh and jansen invited me over to his house for his baby shower. ooo!! can't wait to see the baby! oh ya. must reconfirm the date again...

i'm now at orchard central!! saw the christmas light ups along orchard road today and am seriously not impressed. they look really cheap and distasteful. it looked like they recycled a fair bit of the decorations from previous years' christmas trinkets, if i can call them that. this year's theme looks like a fairytale christmas with all those oversized christmas blobs and metallic cylindrical thingys hanging from the huge trees along the streets. my favourit was when the hung humongous amounts of flickering LED bulbs over the streets, mimicking a twinkling night sky. it was totally beautiful and breathtaking. the lights stretched all the way from Tanglin shopping centre, which is near the botanical gardens to plaza singapura, which is after the Istana.

but as you know, the monsoon season is usually from november till february the following year in tropical singapore. and due to torrential rains and strong winds, a section of the lights crashed into the street underneath. luckily it happened in the wee hours of the morning, so no one was hurt. from that year onwards, extensive decorations hung freely over the streets was prohibited by law.

but pity, that was the most beautiful and stunning christmas decoration i have ever seen along orchard road.

but the malls' individual christmas decorations are actually not that bad this year, considering the financial turmoil that happened this year. Paragon did a great job with its giant towering christmas tree. and i can't wait for the new kids on the block to put up their christmas decorations. i'm sure their decorations will be just as stunning.
the other day i stumbled upon some local trash on the land of cable. its called Polo Boys. basically its about a group of hot sizzling men in tight trunks prancing around in the pool tossing and flailing around. oh, you know something? a hot blooded testosterone driven 'drama' is not complete without some hot chicks right? no matter how stiff their acting is, we need them! so they threw in the queen of all bimbotism, Claire Jedrek. i have a suggestion, why not you hire Ris Low to be like the hot lifeguard in her leopord preens and zeepbra preens bigini set? and no i did not mispell bikini.

i mean, what has local production got itself into?? they are producing like rubbish and trash that is unthinkable to nature and lovals themselves! like hello? S Factor? Singtel Grid Girls? My Little Nonya? and some other productions that i even forgot?? of not forgetting Phua Chu Kang SDN BHD??? with some lamo malaysian actors?? oh my goodness lah..

bring back home shopping and days of our lives back anytime PLEASE!! i think they are way more informative than these idiotic rubbish loads!

goodness me!

oh, did anyone remember Red Thread and that other local production that was launched slightly earlier than Red Thread? i know i don't.

oh oh! and you know that Essential shampoo from japanese giant KAO? the orange and pink ones? that even cares for the last 15cm of your hair?? i bought that too! and i love the smell and the texture of my hair after that! LOVE IT TO BITS!! i bought damage care and it smelt heavenly. smells like rich fresh cut guava fruits in a malibu boat! delicious even! and i'm sniffing my hai now! hahahaha! love love love it!
hey all!!! feeling much better now!! thank godness!! haha! anyway anyway, i dyed my hair! wee! its ash brown now. its not much different from my original colour, but i just wanna give it some shine and highlight. as you know, dark coloured hair can look dull and flat if not much care is given. ITS NOT THAT I'VE BEEN NEGLECTING MY HAIR OKAY! its just that i've been so called stressing my hair way too much.

i have naturally wavy hair. to take out that wave, i'll have to blow dry it in the mornings (if time permits) and then i'll use one of them Gatsby Moving Rubber wax. the purple one. and for those of you who have used this before, you'll just know how anal it is to wash the gunk off your hair completely. i'll usually will have to shampoo my hair twice before i feel its completely off. and the worse thing is i don't condition my hair after that. i have rather short hair so i don't find it necessary to condition my hair everyday. and i've been lazy in applying my sleep in repair serum from L'oreal for the past few weeks. its a bit frizzy and not as smooth as before.

So i bought this DIY dye from Watson's. its new so i thought i'd try it out. its called Liese Bubble Dye. i bought Ash Brown for two reasons. Firstly, i don't want a too drastic change as i just want to bring out the vibrancy of a nuance of highlight to the hair's original colour (sounds super cheem lah! haha!) and secondly, the model on the box looked so darn hawt! hahaha! so i bought that colour! hehe! i'll show you the box later. its so super cool! here's what you do!

firstly you mix the colouring into a bottle. it stinks (like all hair dyes do) so do it in a ventilated area. mix it gently and the solution will turn into foam! all you have to do is work that foam into your hair! its like shampooing your hair! and its DRIP FREE!!!

THAT'S THE BEST THING! DRIP FREE!! NO RUNS, NO STAINING OF THE SKIN. TOTALLY DRIP FREE!!

and the fun thing is it worked like a shampoo. so you know that your entire head is coloured as you feel the foam work into your scalp. After dyeing, you're suppossed to rinse the foam all off, then shampoo your hair clean. and they also have a LEAVE IN conditioner pack included inside for you. LEAVE IN! how cool is that! no rinse! my hair definitely felt better after that. it was super duper soft and shiny. and i love the colour! not that many people notice it because its too subtle. but i think it looks good with my slightly tanned skin.

Then i found out from Yutaki's blog that there's a blogshop selling these hair dyes, imported directly from Japan. and its called Prettia there. the name is so much cuter lah! hahaha! anyway here's the link for you guys to looky looky. http://cocktail83.wordpress.com/
Reasons why you should buy from Watsons THEN buy from the blogshop;
the Liese ones have their instructions in English, so you wont be fumbling with all the stuff in the box. Also, there are a few important pointers in there too which you have to look out.
Reasons why you should buy from the blogshop directly;
the ones sold in watson's (liese) cost like $19.90 per box. the Prettia ones cost $16 plus its free mailing!! how convenient is that?? and like economical???

And and and!!! the models are so much more hawter! haha! this one is Royal Chocolate i think. can't wait to get my hands on those bottles! i've ordered them! so what are you waiting for?? order now!! (please note that delivery is only restricted to areas in Singapore only!! sowwie!!)

i've been really tired and drained for the past few weeks, hence my absence from my blog. its not that i have forgotten about this thing. its just that i'm just too occupied with all this drama as of now... i'll blog again when i'm feeling whole again...
