its friday today and omg!! i'm flying off in like only like 6 days!! omg omg omg!! bye bye hot stinky singapore and hello cold and crisp Japan!! Chiba prefecture to be more precise!! haha! wooo!!
so happy!
actually chiba is just next to Tokyo, so you can actually just take the train down to tokyo for some shopping and the much needed R&R.
and tan wei is already in singapore! can't wait to meet him tomorrow. dunno how to contact him though! haha! he doesn't have a freaking phone. that's why lah. stay too long in the US and come back singapore only like once a year. he should just maintain a phone here for the minuscule amount of time he spends here every month.

hey hey! wassup peeps?? haha!
i went to this Korean Cultural concert yesterday called Seoul'd Out. The concert's divided into two parts. first part being the cultural Miso Dance troupe with their elegant and smooth traditional dances. really pretty and stuff like that. The second half is the ever growing Hallyu Wave!! We had acts from Mario, Lee Jisu, Brown Eyed Girls (OMG!!), FT Island (OMG OMG!!) and T Max (OMG OMG OMG!!!!)!!
Lee Hongki was just too skinny. he needs to eat more. like seriously. the Tmax guys are as usally hotness galores! haha! and Narsha and Gain looked super cute in person. Mirya looked super hot yesterday too!
The night went well yesterday, but i do have some wishes for next's year's Seoul'd Out concert, if there's any.
Have the concert at the Indoor Stadium.
The night was humid and warm. We started out seating on the grass all comfortable. When the MCs for the night came out, the crowd (mostly humans below the age of 17) surged forward. We, being the elderly there, had no choice but to stand up and surge forward with the crowd. The concert started at like 7pm plus and lasted till 11pm. 4 hours of standing among pre pubescent beings. That's worse than standing for 8hours in a roadshow with killa heels.
I also think the artists, being from countries cooler than Singapore, will greatly appreciate the air conditioning of the Indoor Stadium. And i think the humidity made them very thirsty too. Most of them are seen drinking from a bottle after every song.
Have more acts.
Mario sang like 4 songs, of which three were covers, Lee Jisu sang 5 or 6 songs. and the rest of the acts sang an average of 4 songs. there's just not enough big names. they should do a big one and bring in artists like KARA, Bada, U Kiss, Big Bang, 2PM, Mighty Mouth, In Sooni, 4 Minute and SNSD. Introducing these big players in the Kor-tainment scene will obviously bump up the price of the tickets up, which will then lead to my next point.....
Bump up the ticket prices.
$85 is reasonable. okay i admit its actually quite cheap. hence the abundance of GROUPIES. not that i don like them or anything. they add on to the atmosphere and the total experience. Some people (those above the age of 21) just would like to enjoy the live music and performance. So i think the'd appreciate tonnes if they were segregated away from the groupies lot. And i saw way too many below 17ners. Most of them are very, very young and i wonder where the hell they got the money for the tickets. If the ticket prices have a wider range of pricing and the seating areas are segregated, i think everyone will enjoy the concert better.
Example like $85 (groupies), $130 (interested people), $150 (quite hardcore fans) and $190 (hardcore fans). this way, i cab get segregated away from those noisy teeny boppers and enjoy the performance from my AIR CONDITIONED SEAT. Or if they wanna implement a 1 price for all, may i suggest charging $140 per entrant AT THE INDOOR STADIUM. i don't mind the price really, with such quality performances and singers.
In short, my suggestions aim to provide a comfortable entertainment arena where both the artists and biewers can enjoy. And to make the tickets as unaffordable as possible to those who are not working yet / smooching off their parents / groupies.
but all in all, it was a great concert and BROWN EYED GIRLS SARRANG HAEYO!!

hey everyone!! beautiful weather toda! its sunny but still windy, so its not very hot! anyway yesterday i watched Happy Flight with kai xin. it was really funny and cute! and the stewardesses are damn hot! too bad its ANA this time. I watched a similar series called Attention Please. But its a partnership with JAL. really funny too!
there's a report about JAL's failing business portfolio and a sudden panic when the Japanese government decided not to buy the corporation. The news sent ticket prices plummeting like crazy. And lucky me i bought the tickets during that period!! woohoo!! haha! bought 2 business class tickets at only $450 each (excluding airport taxes) and was over the moon when i got them! and the following week, those tickets arriving and departing within the same period cost like $4567 each!! i was sooooo lucky lah! hahaha!
anyway yeah, its like that! enjoyed the movie yesterday and enjoying my cheap like shit tickets too! haha!
oh also, kai xin cooked some kimchi soup for me too! really really yummy stuff! i should buy her the kimchi soup from Prudential Tower and let her try it out. that's super duper yummy!!

VOGUE Korea
in this post, we have some korean big shots posing as fairy tale characters in the december issue of VOGUE Korea. among the celebrities, we have G Dragon, In Sooni, Chae Yeon and Chae Si Ra. but i picked a few that i totally adored! so here ther are!!
And just in case you don't know who Anita Sarawak is, above are two of her pictures. Why i don't like her? here's why. Her hair's dyed platinum blonde. Her eyelashes are fake. her cheeks and lips are implanted. her nose is fake. she's had work done around her eyes and her boobs? non biodegradable girlfriend!!
Kim Seong Rye as Rapunzel. Just had a DIY dye job done and is off to the river to wash all that colour off. Must have weighed a ton huh?
Kim Min Hee and Lee Hyuk Soo as Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. Someone give them something to eat please...
Korean Songstress In Sooni as Ursula from The Little Mermaid. she's my favourite singer. and people she's 50 y'all!! Anita Sarawak, eat shit girlfriend!!

if you wanna maintain your youthfulness, do it like In Sooni. even though she's already 50 and even though she's had some work done (i'm sure of it) she at least still looks healthy and suitable for her age. She still radiates and does not look to plastic like Anita.
I'm just sorry that some people go all out to defy nature. well for me, a nose job, eye work and some botox is fine. Actually any amount of plastic you wanna pump into your face is fine also. the important thing is YOU LOOK NATURAL. YOU LOOK NATURAL. YOU LOOK NATURAL. N.A.T.U.R.A.L.. Au Naturale. Semula Jadi. like that. you'll just look weird with a frozen face like anita or marcia cross. no matter how pretty you are, if you look plastic, well i'm sorry! you're just not human anymore!
