waiting for kenneth lah. he wants to chill around here, so here am i!! supposed to have an appointment with regina at Toa Payoh at 1pm. unfortunately, she has to do a little bit of over time, so the appointment was postponed till further notice. poor girl. DON'T WORK TOO HARD GIRL!!
Anyway, i'm now seating in front of Coffee Bean at OC and am having my usual mocha ice blended ( thanks Elaine for introducing the drink to me! i've been addicted to it for like 6 years already! haha!) i ordered a slice of cake as well as i was famished. i had a Mascarpone Cheese Cake and MY GOD! IT WAS DELICIOUS!! the cheesecake is super smooth and the crust base is not too sweet and delightfully chewy. on top of the cake, there's this layer of apricot jam and rum raisins. aaahhhh... i'm in total heaven! i feel like ordering another slice. ITS REALLY, REALLY GOOD.
PEOPLE IN SINGAPORE, PLEASE TRY THE MASCARPONE CHEESE CAKE FROM THE COFFEE BEAN AND TEA LEAF! ITS TO DIE FOR AND ABSOLUTELY ELICIOUS!
should i order another slice?? really tempted to do so lei. and kenneth is taking so long to come here! ARRRGGGHHH!!! i'm in a dilema now!!

this morning, i set a new canvassing record for myself!!
i approached 85 women in just 2 and a half hours!! woohoo! but got no names! so sad lei!
anyway, anyway, today was the graduating class for PSA level 3. i was running late; left the house at 8.30 and the class starts at 9!! to add to the stress, the train ride was really not smooth and so darn jerky. i boarded the train at Bishan and the journey to Newton had like a dozen halts in between! it was so frustrating! i eventually reached the classroom at 10 minutes past 9. and you know what, i was the first one to arrive! hahaha! so much for worrying all the way through the journey!
the attendance today was really poor; only 5 people were present. so zuby, being the kind trainer she is, condensed the class into a half day thing (it was suppossed to be from 9am till 3pm). that means more free time! but as soon as i settled down in the office, i felt really uneasy and my butt felt extremely itchy. i suddenly have a strong urge to do canvassing! so i ringed debbie up and asked if she was still doing canvassing at Toa Payoh. i went there and later set a new record for myself! woohoo! but the sad thing is i didn't get any names! so sad lor!
we came back at like around 3pm in the afternoon to the office. i facebooked for a while and corresponded with kenneth intermitently. he takes for-ever to reply the messages lah. today was his orientation, so i kinda understand his tardiness. we were suppossed to have dinner together at jurong point, but he eventually had his with his new found friends. hehe, he had to draw out money from his 'Ultimate Moolah'! haha! while he had dinner, i did some canvassing outside the mall. it was really stinky and humid! i came back smelling like a night bazaar! really disgusting!
anyway, yeah... that's all for today... really sleepy. need to get some rest as tomorrow's gonna be helluva day; doing canvassing from 9am till 12pm with debbie and karen. followed by a really skanky and cheap lunch with kenneth, then more canvassing with kenneth and vivienne from 12pm till probably 3pm. dunno what i'm gonna do later in the evening.
hopefully my commission gets banked in later tonight... really, really poor today! :(

so boring today. went canvassing with vivienne just now at 12 pm. wasn't that bad. approached 30 people in like 2 hours, which is like super lousy. i should be like approaching 50 people in an hour. so sucky today.
and i feel so lousy today... feel like not wanting to work anymore. and i'm starting to question my satnd in the industry; am i really cut for this?
must be all that brainwashing by kenneth and jerry yesterday.

MY GOD!!
that MDRT thisg was a load of bull! it was totally draggy and so off the topic that we left halfway to sit around at the mall downstairs!
firstly, the seminar is titled, Me, Myself and MDRT. the roped in a guest speaker, Mr Guy Baker from the MDRT Association. from the subject of the seminar, i expected he will share his trade secrets, how he managed to secure the MDRT for 30 years and so on and so forth. Unfortunately, i was SOOO wrong! he talked about investment strategies and the volatility of the market. i mean like come on! we already know what we should know and we don't need extra headaches to the already 'straight forward' investment linked products. we don't need to learn how to calculate the average yeild of a fund in 5 years or why the fund will continue to grow even with extreme volatility. we don't need all that crap! but NOO! he drolls on and on and on about his investments and such! it was such a bore, we left the hall 30 minutes into the seminar.
we came back to the hall at 4.30pm, just in time for the tea break war. it was hazardous i tell you! all the buffet trays were empty save a couple of them. really, really bad situation lah.
overall, it was a complete waste of my time and really unproductive too. i'll never, ever attend any of this mdrt bullshit ever again!
