which hotel are you?

recollecting the date of mimi strawberry's birthday at furama, i have compiled a collection of nice hotel pictures for you! i am just such a hotelier freak, having worked in one for 3 years. for me, i enjoy working in the hotel line because i really enjoy serving guests and making their stay memorable and enjoyable.

Furama RiverFront Singapore was established since 1967 under the name Apollo Hotel. it was then later re-established with French tourism giant, Accor, under the new name, Novotel Apollo Singapore.
After Accor's withdrawal from the hotel, Apollo Enterprise, again, took over the management of the hotel and renamed it Furama RiverFront Singapore.
the Furama Hotel at Chinatown is then renamed Furama CityCentre Singapore. at exactly around that time, Accor took over the New Otani Hotel above Liang Court and renamed it Novotel Clarke Quay.

enough talk, here are some Furama RiverFront pictures!
this is the pool area
the Waterfall lounge, with a man made 20ft waterfall in its background, amid a lush, tropical forest.

the uber chic Square Restaurant

the interactive dining experience at the Square. the open concept kitchen with its "live a la minute" cooking is actually brought to Singapore by Accor. after which, countless hotels copied the concept.
Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant. the First hotel dining experience certified halal by the Government.

the Executive Lounge for the Executive traveller. Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and Cocktail reception is served here, exclusively for Executive room guests.
the grand, art deco lobby. ( love the chandelier and the phalaenopsis orchids in the middle!!!)

the Jupiter Ballroom and the Executive Suite, pity they removed all of their Apartment Suites.

the Executive Room. love the see through bathroom... so sexy!

here are some Furama CityCentre snapshots! ( not as nice as the RiverFront one as this one is a 3 star accomodation, RiverFront is a 4 star hotel. )

no commentaries for these sets as i don't quite like the hotel...
