Sunday Today

early blog post for today!

Kenan here! how were you guys today?? hope everything's well okay? anyway today was picnic day / laundry day!! we had to do the laundry first so that we can spend more quality time later! kai had to leave at 11am because he had orchestra practice, so that leaves me doing the laundry all by myself! haha!

Kai's Laundry List
  • 8 business shirts (oddly, they are all differing shades of pink/mauve/lavender)
  • three pants
  • 3 cardigans
  • 12 silk ties (God knows why he had so many!)
  • and a cute peacoat made of linen/cotton mix

MY Laundry List

  • 6 business shirts (mine are all white with stripes or checks!)
  • 4 pairs of pants
  • 3 jackets (2 of them are wool blend while the third is tweed)
  • 4 ties

Off to the washing machine! seperate the darks from the whites first before washing them. in this instance, its a distint lavender/pink pile and a black/grey pile! haha!

while the machine's doing its thing i steamed out the items that need dry cleaning. damn hard work man! especially the stupid tweed coat! oh my goodness! its such a beauty to look at but its such a pain to maintain! haha! but i just have to steam that bitch out because it's been 3 weeks since its last steaming! BE GONE YOU FILTHY GERMS!

Ironed the laundry out (all 24 articles!!) and hung them to air in the room. you have to air fresh laundry out. if you store them straight into the closet without airing them out, the closet will be really damp and a musty smell will start emitting!! we don't want that now, do we?

Kai got back home at 4pm and he helped me prepare for the picnic. we made a tomato and brie sandwich (clearly his favourite), watermelons with feta cheese and a bowl of salad with balsamic vinegarette. dumped them all into the picnic bag and off we went! (we bought a bottle of gin and some tonic along the way! hehe!)

Picnic Location : Mt Emily Park

not many singaporeans know of this small, secluded enclave, right in the heart of singapore's shopping belt. its really quiet, even in the evening, so its a perfect spot for us love birds (NOT THAT WE HAVE ANY INTENTION TO DO ANYTHING KINKY WHATSOEVER) haha!!

we reached the park at 5.45pm. we set on the warm grass (it was a super duper hot day) and brought the drinks and food out. it was time well spent. we saw the sun go to bed and the bright beautiful moon appear. The moon today was exceptionally beautiful. she was large, nearer to us than anyone else, round and illuminating a glow so peaceful and enchanting. we just stared at her and enjoyed the breeze, the privacy and each other. Kai wore Davidoff's Echo today and he smelt really masculine. usually, i'll prefer him wearing Clinique's Happy for Men. smelt fresher and brighter. But Davidoff made it exceptionally romantic. we snuggled together and held each other, still sitting on the grass.

we didn't care about the mosquitos because, the bites will go away.

we didn't care about the about the dark because the Moon let us see each other clearly.

we didn't care about the humidity because he was dare to keep me cool.

we didn't care about anything else in this World because he was right next to me and i know that he's happy with me.

I guessed kai was too comfortable in my arms because he snoozed off after a while. haha! that was so cute! i had to nudge him awake so that we could leave Mt Emily.

So here we are now in the Coffee Bean at Orchard Central, me having my Iced Coffee (no sugar nor milk) while he's having his Mocca Ice Blended. i guess i should stop now because the love of my life is here with me and i feel bad not talking to him!

well that's all from me! love you guys loads!! (especially the followers! even though we don't know you personally, you guys give us much needed love for us to continue writing in this blog)

toodles!

the day after yesterday

just got back!!

went to see the Brown Eyed Girls showcase at Zouk. it was kinda blah... they sang the same songs they did at SEOUL'd Out. kinda boring. but the atmosphere was great! the ticket cost me like $96 BUT its inclusive of two housepours and AIR CONDITIONING! omg! thank God for AIR CONDITIONING!! if you live in a country that's currently 35 degrees centrigade with a humidity level of 75%, you'll learn to appreciate air conditioning. thank goodness its indoors now! haha!

anyway they performed abracadabra, how come, LOVE, two english songs and sign. all the same with SEOUL'd Out. so its kinda boring, song selection wise. but it was great to see the group up close and personal. Narsha looked super cute and she gamely posed for pictures while performing! haha! she even accepted some gifts from the fans! love humble celebrities! and Miryo was super pretty just now! can't believe i'm saying that, considering i like guys! hehe! anyway it was nice to see them in singapore again!

love you girls!!

sorry the post is kinda jumbled up!

i was at the queue to the club at 4.30pm and MY GOD! it was snaking already! it was super long! we entered the club at 6.30pm and the shocase started at 9pm. normal tardiness.. there was a B Boy show before the girls came out. the guys were super duper hotness! haha! they were charismatic and yummy at the same time! goodness me! can't believe i'm still drooling over them! hehe!

anyway the show lasted till 11.15pm and i took the bus home, feeling really tired. while i was in the bus, Kenan called me and asked me where exactly was i. i said i was at Balestier. so he said make a stop at Thomson Plaza and wait for him at the Starbucks there. so i did and we had a jolly good time together.

we just had coffee and we chatted like there was no tomorrow. we even cuddled and pecked each other in public! ( NOTE : it was like 11.45pm, and the al fresco area was rather secluded. so no one could see what we were doing. if we were to do this in broad daylight, a warrant of arrest would probably reach me the next day!) anyway it was really nice cuddling up to him. i live his scent. he smelt of new leather and musk with a hint of cigarettes (probably from me! hahaha!) its so nice to have someone you love dearly with you everytime. we cherished that moment together and held each other tight. he almost suffocated me but i don't care. i feel so secure.

we left together in a cab and i made him some supper (a tomato and brie cheese sandwich) at home before he went to bed.

in case you don't know the situation, kenan is actually renting a room at my place. haha! my mom allowed him to lodge here. but she doesn't know that we are an item. if she had known, she'd kill him THEN ME!!! so hush hush!

anyway guess that's it for tonight. e are planning a picnic in the afternoon, after my morning appointment with a client. so i'll keep you people updated about it then!

tata andtake care!

Prospecting Today

haha! like how dumb of me! i should have known better! Singaporeans are a bunch of corporate slave cowards.

Hi Hi!

hello everyone! its kenan here! nice to meet you all! this is my first post here!

anyway last night was great! let me fill you in on the details!

we were cuddled together on the sofa overlooking my balcony. the windows were wide open and a nice breeze was blowing in. i had tea while he had some coffee. we just cuddled there together doing nothing and saying nothing for 4 solid hours. you know your partner loves you when he is willing to spend the time with you together doing nothing at all, just enjoying each other's company.

we just looked into each other and smiled. sigh. that was heavenly! haha! kai looked so cute when he's happy. hehe.

anyway i'll leave the blog now then. take care people!

Love,

Kenan Tanado

Baby talk talk talk to meee!!

yeaps! you guessed it right people! U KISS IS BACK!! ARRRGGGHHHHHH I LOVE THEM ALL!! here's their song that propelled them to fame. they have a few other songs when they first came out, but this song made people notice them! title is Talk To Me... nice song and the choreography is real cool!

that was like in early 2009 late 2008. then they went on hiatus till late 2009 when a new album is released!! yay! new concept and new looks! no more teenagers. they are now manly men!

this is Am i That Easy (direct English translation)

oh just so you know, they've added a new member to the group, making the number now 7.

this is another hot song my them titled Round Round. and i prefer their stage performance to their MV.

the new concept's really working out well for them huh!

Please Don't Say Goodbye

Today, we revisit a fantabulous band that has been around for quite a while already. JEWELRY! sad to say, they are 'splitting up'. the two main singers are persuing their solo careers and they will be replaced by another two singers (how awful!) to 'recomplete' the group. this is their final song before they go their seperate ways. its really sad. this is their best song so far. nearly cried when i listened to this.. The song is Love Story

during their peak in 2008, One More Time

Rainbow (another korean group) did a beautiful tribute to Jewelry for One More Time.

sorry about the fuzzy quality though...

dunno what's up with these Korean group names... Rainbow, Jewelry, T-Ara, Gavy NJ, Brown Eyed Girls.... haha! really cute names though..

The Romance of Being Earnest

hello hello people! gosh! 5 followers! i greatly thank you for making the time to read my humble blog! i will try to update it frequently!! thank you all!! hearts hearts!!

i have a piece of good news to share with you all...

I'M IN A RELATIONSHIP!!

woohoo!! haha and he is sooo my ideal type. he has a perfect smile, a great toned body with muscles all at the right places and he is golden-licious! hahahahaha! oh he's japanese but born and bred entirely in Vancouver and he's 33.

okay, i can hear all that "what? 33? isn't he a bit to old for me?" okay i admit 33 is no walk in the park for me. (just so you know, i'm 22 this year) its 11 years difference and all... but i love men who are mature. they get better as they age. they are not whiney, nor spoilt. they are like fine vintage wine. the older they get the tastier they become (not too old okay. if kept too long they SPOIL) haha anyway, he's the "hubby" while i'm the "wife" so a bit of age difference wont bother us.

wait, why the open inverted commas? welll just so you know, again, i'm a guy too. so it makes that relationship kinda hard to chew for some people.

on the serious side, i think people should just connect if the like each other. they should be able to be patient with one another and understand each other's needs. another important thing is to be able to ADAPT... for those ignorant, and stubborn people, TO ADAPT means to ACCOMMODATE each other's flaws and quirks.

for example, my flaws and quirks are that i smoke (quite light, like 6 sticks a day?) and that i may be a pain in the ass at times. HE LISTENED AND HE UNDERSTOOD. His flaws are he is a workaholic and usually comes back home at like 1 in the morning. He also like to hang out with his male buddies. i understand, he's kinda straight influenced, so hanging out with the guys is like a ritual for him. I LISTENED AND UNDERSTOOD.

you have to see the relationship as a huge beautiful fresco and appreciate its beauty. Scrutinise closer and amaze at all the small brush strokes the artist intended.

in plain English, look at the big picture and appreciate what you have. All the small flaws are what make you unique as a couple.

okay, guess that's it for now. oh his name is Kenan Tanado and he now has access to my blog. so he may wish to write something here for you guys (or a personal note for myself) hehe!

thanks and love you all!!

Brown Eyed Girls' Magical Extravaganza

for your viewing pleasure, here's some clips from Browned Eyed Girls (BEG for short) they're actually quite an old school band and the song Abracadabra propelled them to fame. just to run through the members with you, the first one to sing is Ga In, the one with hair covering one eye is Narsha, the long haired girl is JeA, the leader while the rapper is Miryo.

oh just for your information, their average age is 30. haha! that's ancient for korean idol groups!

This is How Come by them as well.. i like this song because its melody is simple yet catchy. gives you a very clean sound.

the same song but with a clearer view of their uber cute dance..

hope you enjoy them as much as i do and remember to support them! they work hard for your entertainment! so don't download illegally!
hello people! sorry for not blogging for so long. if there are lotsa typo errors in this entry please pardon me because while i am typing this, i have a cigarette in my hand! haha! people like us can multi task you know! not just women!

anyway have you heard the news??? the Brown Eyed Girls are coming to Singapore!! Again!! Narsha saranhayoooo!!! woohoo! they're coming on the 27th and kai xin, being the nice soul she is, has agreed to fund for the ticket first! omg! kai xin i owe so much to you (not financial debts okay! just good deeds hor! haha!) they'll be at zouk so i hope there'll be very little teeny boppers. hate them to the core! the last time i went to their showcase in singapore, there were so many of them, it dampened my mood so much! and it was super humid and warm. Their previous showcase is in collaboration with SEOUL'd OUT and it was at Fort Canning Green. imagine how hot it is lah! goodness me!

also thank you to the first foreign subscriber to my blog! omg! didn't know people still have the time to browse through all the nonsense i wrote for the past few years! haha! thank you! Gracias! Domo Arigato Gozaimasu! Kamsah Hamidah! since there are foreigners now, i'll try to limit the amount of Singlish i type here. Just so you know, Singlish is the local accent for Queen's English. It has Malay, Hokkien, Mandarin and Teochew influences thrown in. its like its like you know people from manchester speak a different kind of Queen's English from London Natives. or Busan natives speaking Korean differently from Seoul Natives.

haha! this entry has become like a crash course for Languages! hehe! anyway happy living people! remember! God gave you a place in this lovely Earth for a reason!
