its time for some Music Bank updates! this week was a great week because some great groups had their comeback! here's a few of my favourites!

new song by Kara!! LUPIN! the sets and costumes are gorgeous! love the concept!!

and something sexier, here's T-ARA with I Go Crazy Because of You.. its directly translated, hence the mouthful for a title! its a departure from the chic or cute T-ARA..

yeaps! you guessed it right people! U KISS IS BACK!! ARRRGGGHHHHHH I LOVE THEM ALL!! here's their song that propelled them to fame. they have a few other songs when they first came out, but this song made people notice them! title is Talk To Me... nice song and the choreography is real cool!



that was like in early 2009 late 2008. then they went on hiatus till late 2009 when a new album is released!! yay! new concept and new looks! no more teenagers. they are now manly men!

oh just so you know, they've added a new member to the group, making the number now 7.

Today, we revisit a fantabulous band that has been around for quite a while already. JEWELRY! sad to say, they are 'splitting up'. the two main singers are persuing their solo careers and they will be replaced by another two singers (how awful!) to 'recomplete' the group. this is their final song before they go their seperate ways. its really sad. this is their best song so far. nearly cried when i listened to this.. The song is Love Story

Rainbow (another korean group) did a beautiful tribute to Jewelry for One More Time.

Brown Eyed Girls' Magical Extravaganza

for your viewing pleasure, here's some clips from Browned Eyed Girls (BEG for short) they're actually quite an old school band and the song Abracadabra propelled them to fame. just to run through the members with you, the first one to sing is Ga In, the one with hair covering one eye is Narsha, the long haired girl is JeA, the leader while the rapper is Miryo.



oh just for your information, their average age is 30. haha! that's ancient for korean idol groups!



This is How Come by them as well.. i like this song because its melody is simple yet catchy. gives you a very clean sound.

No Happy Ending

Happy Ending by Mika. its a rather old song. but i love it to bits! first time i watched the video i thought "hey! it's cute!" second time i heard it i cried because the song was too beautiful and the meaning of the song hold dear to me and my life.

I'm really sorry, i've not been dutifully updating my blog!! will try to increase the frequency of updates real soon; me getting a new laptop!!

Spirited Away

My Neighbour, Totoro となりのトトロ

arrangement by Joe Hisaishi, Film and Art by Hayao Miyazaki. Both geniuses in their own rights. this is one of his most touching and beautiful compositions. when i listened to it i teared a little, maybe because when i looked back on my childhood, how i wished i could be as carefree and happy as the main characters in the film.

A Tribute : Misora Hibari

one of the most notable Japanese commercial singer, she started her singing career at the age of 8 and her recording career at the age of 12. Her swan song, Kawa No Nagare No You Ni, 川の流れのように, has been performed numerous times over the years as a tribute to her.

she died from pneumonia on 1989, at a rather premature age of 52. her death was widely mourned in Japan. begining in 1990, television and radio stations play her song Kawa No Nagare No You Ni annually on her birthdate, as a sign of respect.




we will always remember Misora as a beautiful and graceful enka singer who brought life and sorrow to all the enka songs she sang. Rest In Peace, Misora Hibari.

Doubt & Trust Compare Me!!

in today's compare me, we have ACCESS, a japanese band performing Doubt & Trust, the 3rd opening theme for D Gray Man, an infamous japanese anime (well, not as famous as the Gundam series, if you ask me)



As for this one, its a piano instrumental version performed by someone i don't know. but DAMN, he's goooood!



the verdict? well i think the original is great and very moodlifting. but if you want something that is more subdued than the ruckus the first one created, then the piano instrumental is for you!

Tan Wei, this is for you. its crappiness and all.



i liked this song. without the subs, i thought it was about a guy who lost his girlfriend or something. it looked like a sad song. SEKALI when i found a video with the subs, i was STUMPED! didn't know it was so crappy and random! haha have a good laugh with this!
