i have a new target in camp... its an officer also lah ( i don go lower than that ) but the problem is this don went to tell the officer to don go to our office too often as there is this GUY ( who happens to be me ) who likes you. he answered " really? is it khairul "
then don said " yeah"
and he said "oh i just did marshalling duty with him just now"

knights on the oblong table
ok, yesterday sgt paul asked me to design some costumes for AHM 08. he's in charge of the water point there and he needs to decorate it. so he thought of maybe some costumes to be worn by some willing men. he was asked to come up with 2 designs; one for the Archer and another for the Knight.
as for the next design, i was thinking of something like a Napoleon and Josephine design... so here it is...
last one, and my most favouritest, is the Rose of Versailles design. its suppossed to be androgynous, pretty, masculine and romantic, all at the same time. in short, it looks like a manga character.
ok ok, i know all the models that i drew were women. but they are suppossed to be for men ok? don get too overly confused...
the archer i managed to come up with three designs; Roman drapery, Robin Hood in tight, tight tights and a Sang Nila Utama-esque design ( they have archers to you know! )... he liked the roman drapery one. but i prefered the sang nila utama one; more pretty! hahaha
anyways, as for the knight, i was cracking my head over what to design for it, when an idea came to me while i was flipping through L'officiel... how about newspapers ( we have to use recycled materials ) and LACE? that'll be so cool! so i came up with the first design that incorporates lace into it.

D U T Y ! ! !
aiyah how marshalling duty tomorrow? troublesome lah!
oh and i made some smashing bread and butter pudding! really yummy! and its done with whole meal bread instead of the usual white! ( just ignore the slobs of butter, cream and milk i used ) it turned out really awesome! i did not make it sweet, just a hint of vanilla sugar sweetness and i'm gonna have it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a dollop of pomegranate conserve on the side... yums yums!!! ittadakimasu!
i need more ice cream... i'm on a mood swing (hint: my marshalling duty tomorrow ) stupid terence peh

the new SAF No 4!
saf is changing the No 4! oh my gawd! it looked super fugly lor! its like what the hell...
here's the dirt. the camouflage is pixelated, no buttons up front, all velcro ( the senior officers are getting lazier ) and no rank eapulleattes ( is that how i spell it? ) on the shoulders but the shoulder ranks ( 2LT, LTA, CPT, MAJ, LTC, 1WO, SWO blah blah blah ) will be on the chest. just like those american armies... what's with the american army style? we were a british colony! stick to the Queen's design. what's more, we are still using Queens English wat... leceh you know all these things...

it looks something like this, only thing is ours is greener and more luminous... now all of them at camp are thinking of buying the SAF no 3, which looks way way better than this nonsense up there. the No 3 is like office wear for the military, trousers and a shirt. looks polished, smart and better. ( better than velcro! )

suay lah kena marshalling duty this monday... i have to do it with alan, johan and adrian... haiyah... need to book in to camp by 6.30am... stay in lah this monday...

pity pity! my dear, dear QM, LTA Soh is getting posted out! sad lah... all the happy memories just flashed by! now we get NSF QM! boring lah nsf QM.
ok, they are younger and more fun to talk and work with. but, trust me, they are extremely not fun to work FOR! they know nuts about the work! even this new one taking over LTA Soh knows nuts about the work. about ES. about STO loans. how to GI and GR.
aiyoh... lucky i ORDing in like 1 month's time. if not tak boleh tahan lah!
