SAF day

thank god SAF day is like so over! thank god again that i am so not involved with national day parade lor!!! godness me! it was really bad for me already!

all in all, head was very happy with all of our performances and HD LOG was like uber happy with us all, the RFB team and the sector people! like oh my god what is all that happiness without our offs??? give us our offs you damn bitch!

SAF day

ok... here's the scoop... the Guard of Honours contigent this year is... MP COMMAND!!! Woohoo! go Mps!!!

for the past two days, SAF day rehearsals have really been a bitch in my arse. i have to wake up by 4.30 am, fall in at the parade square by 5.30 am, collect breakfast and be at SAFTI Military Institute by 9 am in a 1.5 tonner. then its all that water and ration shit going on. we are like feeding near to 400 mouths on the rehearsals! ( bear in mind these numbers account to only the Colours Party, the Guard of Honours Contigent, the Corps of Drums, and the Casing Party )

Thank goodness we are not feeding the marching contigents as well! i mean that will add up to a gazillion more mouths lor!

on the actual day itself, my section will have to feed 154 more mouths. that's when the SAF Bands will come in full force... goodness me...

but all in all, it is a very rewarding and an extremely fruitful event for the Singapore Army. the parade, that is. not the sai kang! hehehe

SAF day

this consecration of military people from Singapore and abroad. i enjoy WATCHING this but i am sure to despise being PART of it... imagine waking up 4.30am in the morning so that we can reach SAFTI MI by 5.30am... what the hell... its like way too early lor! i just can't take it already!

i like the SAF bands contigent. looks really cool and full of grandieur. ah, just love it!
