Dear ken,
the aprtment's really empty. went back last night and it was so eerily quiet! come back soon and fill it up with your warm laughter again!
anyway, remember Jonathan? the Ernst & Young guy that i was to meet last friday? yeah, he didn't turn up for the appointment! how dumb is that!? if you are like not interested in the plans that i propose, then there's no fucking need to do a no show with me! just tell me you're not interested and that's it! i'm not pushy you know! that was like a totally what the fuck moment.
and as for the filler job with georgia, my friend said she was actually just a GP 5 years ago and that she's not very qualified to do cosmetical procedures. i'm like having second thoughts now. she also said Normaderm has a tendency to clump up and get lumpy after the injection. thinking of doing the procedure with Novena Medical or something. do you think its a good idea? i'm afraid she screws up my nose and stuff! please adviseee!!!!

its been three days since kenan left for japan and i'm missing him already. sigh...
i miss...
his soft kiss on my cheeks, his warm hug welcoming me home, his yummy home made dinner, his firm hand holding my hand when we go for late night strolls, his masculine scent that reminded me of bouquets of marigolds mixed with the warm scent of musk, tobacco and cinnamon, his clever and witty talk, hearing his heart beating when i lay on his strong chest in bed, his cuddle on the sofa, the silent moments we shared together, his charming smile, his cute wink when i stole glances of him from across the room, his concentrated gaze when he's doing work at home, his cute dimples when he smile, his soft hair on my shoulder when he leans on me, his cute whinings when he noticed that his botoxed wrinkles are re appearing, the scent of old dollars on his hands from all that money handling at the bank, the time we spend together every saturday for picnics, his critiques for all the mundane things in life, the way he shakes his ass to T-Ara's songs, the scent of his freshly laundered Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent coats, the feel of his tweed on my arm when i cradle it while we walk, the scent and taste of his home made Sunday lemonade, the times when i accompany him to church for service, his cheeks, wet from crying, when i kissed him to comfort him when he lost a special friend, the warm presence when we sleep together, the click clackity of his shoes when he leave or returns home, his sigh when he sat at the couch after reaching home, the hum of his hairdryer early in the morning, his random chats with the lovely lady next door, sharing music with him on my mp3 player, ironing his freshly laundered shirts, the scent of freshly ground coffee in the early morning, his sleepy Good Morning greeting in bed, the scent of his aftershave when i kiss him goodbye before he leaves for work, the clicking of his laptop keybard when we are msning each other in the living room, his sweet lovey dovey notes for me that he leaves everywhere, the soft stubble when he runs my hands over his face (he knows i hate the feeling of stubble! he's just trying to irritate me!), the countless times he tries to irritate me, but to no avail, his acting cute when we chat on the phone, his acting cute when he wants me to do something for / with him, his aqualine nose, rubbing against mine, his hand on my waist when we walk, his touch when we sit together in a theatre, his hand in mine when we are just lolling around............ the list is endless i think!

hello people of interland! we all come in peace!
just some updates!!
ken baby will be away for a month, starting from 22nd April. he needs to go back to Tokyo for Tax submissions for the Bank's clients. he's processing like over 500,000 applications, so he calculated and he'll need prolly a month to finish them all. but we promised to chat, webcam and message each other regularly! hehe! hope i don't miss him! the apartment will be horrendously empty without him around!
secondly, i'm going to the surgeon's this July for a new nose! not that i need any help of such, the procedure is entirely aesthetic. it'll be just an outpatient, non invasive thing. instead of inserting a silicone implant into my nose, i'm going for a filler! Hyaluronic Acid, to be more precise.
the doctor will just inject the acid into the nose bridge to create a higher bridge and a pointier tip. I WANT A NOSE LIKE CHOI PHILIP!! his nose is super sexy! hahahaha! i just dunno how a nose can be sexy!
So anyway, with ken's Priveleage Card discount, the total cost will come up to less than S$800. The filler will last between a year to 5 years. The best thing about this is it degenerates naturally. if i like how my nose look like with the fillers, i can opt for a more permanent silicone implant. if i don't like how my nose looks, no need to go for another surgery to take the filler out because it will degenerate by itself! how convenient is that!

goodness! the weather these few days have been really wrecking havoc on my nose, throat and hair!! its driving me nuts!
it's extremely cyclical.. it'll be super duper hot and humd during the morning till mid afternoon. and it'll suddenly start to pour really bad till late evening. its super hot during the day and super cold at night.
i've got a lovelt sore throat now and my nose has been running for a 1000 km marathon. my hair is now limp and frizzy and no matter how much i condition / treatment pack / blow it, the limpiness and frizz just won't go away! MAGICAL HAIR DRYER PLEASE BE MY SAVIOUR!!

my new hair!!
My New Hair!! so much more neater than my previous style! hahaha! took this on my laptop's webbie while i'm still in the office..
Oh about the black pillow thingy, i got it from Citibank. they came by the office yesterday to promote CitiGold (their privileage banking arm) and their new account, the Step Up Account.
If you don't know, their Step Up Account offers the highest interest for a Savings Account in Singapore. how it works? when you open a Step Up account with Citibank, they will start with an interest of 0.30% compounding. Starting from the lowest point of that month, increase your deposit by a dollar and Citibank will step up your interest by 0.05%. The interest will keep increasing, together with your savings. The maximum interest you can earn is 0.75% compounding per annum (honestly, this IS the highest, so far!)
Its really sad how low our interest rates have gone. 10 years ago, banks were paying like 2.25% for savings accounts and 5% for Fixed Deposits. Now, even Fixed Deposits are earning like 0.5% interest. sigh, Bank interest rates are lower than inflation. how's that for a great way to live?

hey everyone! kenan here!
well, its an early post today! its nearing the Tax Declaration dateline, but surprisingly, i'm not busy at all today.. i'm like sitting at my desk, drinking some coffee i bought from Caffee Bean and staring into the street outside..
Anyway, the purpose of this humble blog update is to notify you guys that kai has gone for a haircut and he looked so smashing now! no more curly wurly! hello 60s chic! seriously! haha! okay the way he styled it is like erm.. he side parts it at a rather steep end, combs one side straight while the other side of the parting remains curly. so it looks cute! thank goodness he cut his hair. its like getting on my nerves for the last few weeks.
Another piece of news, i may need to go over to TMBC's HQ the following week for work.. so i hope kai wont miss me! well we could still webcam though! hehe!
ANYWAY, TAKE CARE GUYS AND GALS! have a great day ahead!

i just love picking fights with people. especially when they are at fault and they were the ones who started it all. take for example just now;
my mother was looking for the malay newspapers and she asked me where it is. i said i dunno, because, obviously, i do not read the malay papers. she then went to continue nagging about me just helping myself to the english papers and that i should help her keep the papers and make sure i know where they are and stuff.
my rebuttal? why should i help her keep the malay papers when i don't read it? i left the malay papers on the dining table because THAT WAS THE FIRST PLACE SHE LEFT ALL THE PAPERS. so naturally, after i'm done with the english papers, i'll leave them in the old papers cupboard. i didn't touch the malay papers at all, so how should i know where the rubbish is? what does she take me for? an information counter? she insisted that i should know where it is as i was the last person to touch them. (at this point i was totally frustrated with her stupidity and ignorance, the word FUCK nearly came out) I DID NOT TOUVH YOUR FREAKING PAPERS! how the hell should i know! (coincidentally, she found them, on her own, on the dining table) she continued to nag and shit. i was so frustrated i just shouted whatever came to mind.
she said i think only for myself, and i answered says who?
she shouted at me saying she doesn't have time to read her simple papers because she was busy marketing and cooking for the family. i told her, i didn't ask you to cook so don't complain. i can jolly well march down to the food centre next door to buy y meals.
she continued bombarding at how selfish and ungrateful i am to her and stuff. Honestly, i don't care if you cook at all. you cook i eat. you don't cook i don't eat. simple. all i ask for from her is just one single thing. lodging. honestly, i cook for myself, i do my own laundry, i work and earn my own keep. bloody hell, i'm helping her PAY her insurance premiums of like $350 every month. and all she does is nag at me when she does a silly mistake.

How is your Saturday coming along?? Well, I was on my way to meet ken darling at Orchard Central when I was pleasantly surprised at this view I came upon. Its just your normal walkway by the streets, and if you don’ know it yet, singapore’s streets are ALL lined with trees. Some of them are planted with trees that’ll bloom all at the same time for a magnificent view. Some streets are lined with fruit trees that will bear fruits once in a while, like jackfruits, mangosteens and starfruits. Other streets are just planted with lush green trees just for their shade and pleasant, soft effect on the hard streets. Well the street that I was staying in was planted with pretty trees that bloomed beautiful pink flowers not too long ago. But unfortunately, because of the recent heavy downpour, all the flowers were wilted and lay dead along the walkways. There was this tree at the junction that was planted just to fill up the empty void there. I dunno what’s up with him, but he’s all golden and yellow! And he’s started to shed his leaves all over the walkway! Its such a magnificent sight! The entire length of the walkway is strewn with golden leaves. It was just so pretty that I had to stop and take a picture, before the authorities clean the streets up. So here’re the pictures! They are really pretty and such a rare sight in the pristine Singapore streets.

I dunno, maybe the ministers are just suckers for order and cleanliness, because everytime trees shed their leaves, the leaves strewn all over the place will be swept clean by the sweepers. Okay maybe it’s a road hazard, as leaves when wet can be really slippery (experienced that the hard way) and hence they may pose a threat to motorists. But why clean up the leaves in the parks? They’re just so pretty and the rustic walkways add character to the park. Sometimes, they make it look cosy and rustic, other times so romantic, but the rest of the time, it makes the man made parks look so close to nature. All those huge trees all brown and moist and humid. I just love their scent in the early morning.
Well for my street, I do hope they do not clean it up soon, because I wanna show ken baby the beauty when we get home tonight!
p.s. just so you know, I’m typing this in the bus, commuting from my appointment at Thompson to Orchard! Hehehe! Damn, typing this out and sitting in the bus is soo making me giddy! Better stop now. Seeya!!

hey hey people!
just dropping by here for a quick rant! i bought these lovely shoes from ALDO a few days back and i love how gorgeous they look. but the thing is, they're like walking on Hell! here's the chronicle of my feet for the last four days..
DAY 1 - wore the shoes for like 9 hours. Really painful to walk in, especially my heels. Got home and was kinda surprised that my heel was blistered and bleeding. Hurt like Hell when i washed the wound.
Day 2 - my heels were healed overnight. so i risked it again and wore the Hell Shoes again. This time for a short 5 hours. But i was standing quite a bit during the day, so my pinky toes were really hurt and when i removed the shoes, they were red, sore and bleeding. Why am i not surprised?
Day 3 - My heels are totally cool with the Hell Shoes. What's not cool with them are my pinky toes. Today i had no choice and had to wear them for 12 hours. and i was walking about for quite a fair bit too. But when i take my shoes off, my pinky toes weren't bleeding, just sore.
Day 4 - I either wear my ugly old shoes to work or drop by the cosmetice surgeon later to amputate my pinky toes. you just have to suffer for fashion, seriously. Today was rather hardcore. wore the shoes for 8 hours, but 7 hours were on my feet. i hardly get to sit still for a good 10 minutes. By the end of the day, i can hardly walk without bitching out loud. when i took off the shoes, an angry looking sore greeted me from my left pinky toe.
i think i've figured out what's giving my feet problem. i think its the abbraission between my pinky toe and the second last toe. because i was always moving about, my feet tend to get moist from the sweat. then the toes will start rubbing each other, causing extremely uncomfortable pain and agony for the owner of the toes. My solution? i'm gonna buy toe socks tomorrow and try them out for a week. i think toe socks will work better because the toes are seperated from each other and no painful abbraission can take place! i'll go to the supermart later in the afternoon to go get some pairs!
moral of the story? just endure for fashion. if you wann alook gorgeous, suck it in biyatch! hahaha!

DAY 1 - wore the shoes for like 9 hours. Really painful to walk in, especially my heels. Got home and was kinda surprised that my heel was blistered and bleeding. Hurt like Hell when i washed the wound.
Day 2 - my heels were healed overnight. so i risked it again and wore the Hell Shoes again. This time for a short 5 hours. But i was standing quite a bit during the day, so my pinky toes were really hurt and when i removed the shoes, they were red, sore and bleeding. Why am i not surprised?
Day 3 - My heels are totally cool with the Hell Shoes. What's not cool with them are my pinky toes. Today i had no choice and had to wear them for 12 hours. and i was walking about for quite a fair bit too. But when i take my shoes off, my pinky toes weren't bleeding, just sore.
Day 4 - I either wear my ugly old shoes to work or drop by the cosmetice surgeon later to amputate my pinky toes. you just have to suffer for fashion, seriously. Today was rather hardcore. wore the shoes for 8 hours, but 7 hours were on my feet. i hardly get to sit still for a good 10 minutes. By the end of the day, i can hardly walk without bitching out loud. when i took off the shoes, an angry looking sore greeted me from my left pinky toe.
i think i've figured out what's giving my feet problem. i think its the abbraission between my pinky toe and the second last toe. because i was always moving about, my feet tend to get moist from the sweat. then the toes will start rubbing each other, causing extremely uncomfortable pain and agony for the owner of the toes. My solution? i'm gonna buy toe socks tomorrow and try them out for a week. i think toe socks will work better because the toes are seperated from each other and no painful abbraission can take place! i'll go to the supermart later in the afternoon to go get some pairs!
moral of the story? just endure for fashion. if you wann alook gorgeous, suck it in biyatch! hahaha!

And this is my lovely boyfriend Kenan! he's totally cute, totally gorgeous and totally rooted to the ground. he's just so modest and understanding!
okay, we've known each other for like 7 years now and we've only started dating like 4 months ago. Why the long wait, you may ask. well, the answer's simple! i was waiting for him to settle down in Singapore with me! he was flying around the world with Japan Airlines, writing business for millions of policy holders all over Asia for Prudential Co Asia in Hong Kong, investing what's worth in Prudential Asset Management in Singapore, auditing for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Hong Kong, before finally settling in Singapore's office for the Tokyo-Mitsubishi Bank as a Tax Officer. Lemme tell you how we got together;
the day he came to Singapore, he called me up and we met at Bishan Park at like 11pm. we had like tonnes to talk about. Then he asked the question,"Kai, i really like you alot. Let's get together and have some kids." So i said okay. hahahaha! like i knew this was so gonna happen! its just a matter of when! So we've been living together ever since at his lovely apartment at Cairnhill Road for close to three months now.
and yeah! i guess that's all about us, as for the blog, its really simple! but be warned! its really wordy and some of my friends have complained that its too wordy. the thing is, its not that i don't like to share pictures and stuff, its just that uploading pictures into blogger is such a chore! its so troublesome! i'll share some videos that i am into at that moment, but just a disclaimer, i am into Korean Pop for the moment. they are like totally hot and cute! not that i understand what the fish they are singing, but they just look so cool!
currently, i love MBLAQ, U KISS, T-Ara, Seeya, Brown Eyed Girls, 4Minute,KARA, BEAST, 2AM, and a few thousands more.. there's just too many of them for me to remember!

hey kai here!
okay, i know its kinda hard for you guys to see it clearly, but just click on it to open a larger image of the map. its best if you open in in another window / tab. The stations in Town (the Premier shopping District) are Orchard, Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut(along the red line). Melvin's apartment is near Queenstown (along the green line) , which is kinda far from Town, as you can see..
Melvin is in town y'all!! hahaha actually not really though. his apartment is in like Tanglin Halt, which is nearer to Queenstown than Town. hahaha. okay, for the benefit of you, my dear non singaporean readers, i've attached the Metro lines of Singapore.

okay, so Melvin's in Singapore, so what's the big deal right?? well, the big deal is, FROSTY is here too!! here are pictures!!!
isn't he cute!?!? he's a samoyed, if you wandering. he's so fluffy and cute and the way he looks at you is so endearinga nd eager and intelligent.. he doesn't smell and is so playful with people around him. oh i just adore him!!
honestly, i'm afraid of dogs. because most dogs look threateningor too big or just plan ugly. what with their drool and all. but Frosty is so poised and etiquette trained. he doesn't swear, doesn't spit and lifts his pinky finger when drinking tea from china. hahaha just kidding! ken saw how i loved him and was pondering on buying a samoyed instead of a ragdoll (a cat that's equally cute).
which one do you think i should get?
The Samoyed
he's friendly and fluffy. he's cute and playful. i'll get to play with him all the time. he has boundless energyand extremely sociable. i 'll HAVE to play with him all the time. he's generally low maintenance and clean due to his down fur. easy to train and needs to play around for most of his time, lest he'll get restless, obese and barky.
The Ragdoll
he's elegance and poise in a cat. cute and playful. but usually reserved and can't be bothered in th elater years. lounges around all day and will look for you if he wants some attention. smart cat and will usually respondto the name you give him. easy to train, too and is happy to spend most of his time alone, in his kitty condo.
i'll post some pictures of ragdolls in the next post! please help me decide!!
Wedding Dress of the Day
i dunno who the designer of the dress is, but i suspect its a Valentino. the model is Lena Fuji, a really prominent Japanese Model..
yesterday evening, when i was in the office, this manager named David came along to my table and asked if i'd like to go drinking with hime and a few others. i said sure, what's the harm right? so off we went to Pauliner's at Suntec City. its a german brewery, serving, of course, german food.
the ambience was really nice. very dim and dark. good if you wanna look good, without much effort! hahahaha! anyway there's a live band there. the first singers were more like The Corrs; you know, pop with an injection of country. her voice's great. really good listening material. just that the music's really loud and that its hard to hear each other speak, though i'm not complaining on this part!! hahaha!
the thing is, David and the two other ladies that came along were talking about work non stop from the time we left the office to the moment i finished my second 0.5l glass of beer. its like, OMG!!! why the hell do you like discuss business and work over beer?? drinking after work is a means to relieve stress and bond with your colleagues. not to keep them further away from you! Thank God the second group of singers came soon enough and start belting really great contemporary songs. I'll just look at his eyes and pretend that i'm listening. eheheh!
oh yes, the food there's kinda good too. i love the sausages and braustwurst... is that how i spell it out? hahaha! and the pork trotters were damn crispy on the skin! damn sinful. i'm soo going salads today!
