i just love mrs marcos! i watched her documentary yesterday and it got me thinking; was she the dictator? or was she athe WIFE to a dictator? i loved her wardrobe, her stash of 3000 pairs of shoes and her immaculate make up... i just love some of her answers to the interviewer's questions...
on why is she always so beautiful and immaculately dressed..
"i have to always look beautiful. so that the people will have someone to look up to. to be their hero, their standard, their star. it is not expensive to be buautiful. it takes only a little effort to be beautiful.... unfortunately people think beauty as luxury, beauty as frivolity, beauty as extravagance....no. beauty is a discipline. beauty is harmony, an art, in the ideological sense.
on why she owns 3000 pairs of shoes...
this is just what most women want. i just like shoes and dresses. but shoes mostly. if i am not famous, will this be a big deal? no!
she is just so cool!!!
